For 4 years I was an Instagram strategist helping mompreneurs grow with templates, carousels, and posting strategies that worked. Back then, Instagram could carry a business. A reel could reach thousands overnight, a carousel could build trust, and consistency really did bring in sales.

But buyer behavior changed. The posts that used to sell started falling flat. Flashy income claims, recycled hooks, and “look at me” marketing filled the feed. They got views, but they didn’t build trust. And without trust, sales don’t happen. Meanwhile, my clients were spending nap times, pickup lines, and late nights cranking out content that disappeared in 24 hours and left them second-guessing everything.

That’s when I stopped treating Instagram like the whole strategy. Instead, I built a bigger picture. Content that connects across platforms. Messaging that makes people feel seen instead of sold to. A plan that turns disappearing hours into marketing that actually leads to clients.
